Morrison Government delivers for Carine Cats Ball Club

19th April 2019

The Carine Cats Ball Club will undergo a revamp thanks to $17,500 in funding by the Morrison Government.

The grant will go towards the long-awaited construction of spectator seating and player dugouts around the Club’s Baseball diamond.

WA Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds said investing in sporting infrastructure is vital to building stronger communities.

“Sporting facilities are vital for inspiring physical activity and health, but also for building community spirit and pride,” Senator Reynolds said.

“Ensuring accessible, safe, inclusive and sustainable sporting and physical activity infrastructure is essential to getting Australians to be more physically active.

“That is why a key priority of the Morrison Government is upgrading facilities and infrastructure at sporting clubs right across Australia through the Community Sport Infrastructure Grant program.

“Even small projects such as this, can have a big impact on boosting local business, economy, health and social cohesiveness.

“It is because of the Morrison Government’s strong economic management that we are able to deliver these improvements for our local sporting clubs.”
